Synclastic forms, in which both the vertical axis and the horizontal axis bend in the same direction, have become very popular in jewelry, especially for earrings. The shape hangs gracefully and looks very pretty against the curve of the neck.
I formed these earrings from 24-gauge brass sheet, gave them a lightly hammered surface, and soldered on sterling silver ear wires. The finish on the brass has been sealed with jewelers’ microcrystalline wax to prevent tarnish. The earrings measure approximately 1-1/2 inches long by 7/8 inch wide at the widest. They weigh about 2 grams each.
The price includes shipping within the U.S. Your earrings will be shipped in a gift box stamped with the artists hand studio logo.
