Synclastic forms, in which both the vertical axis and the horizontal axis bend in the same direction, have become very popular in jewelry, especially for earrings. The spoon-like shape hangs gracefully and looks very pretty against the curve of the neck.
I formed these earrings from 24-gauge brass sheet, gave them a lightly hammered surface, and soldered on sterling silver ear wires. The finish on the brass has been sealed with jewelers’ microcrystalline wax to prevent tarnish. The earrings measure approximately 1-1/2 inches long by 7/8 inch wide at the widest. They weigh about 2 grams each.
The price includes shipping within the U.S. Your earrings will be shipped in a gift box stamped with the artists hand studio logo.
